A nice little bakery. The staff is very friendly and the bread is very tasty. Also the pasteis de nata were an absolute highlight to me. I would absolutely recommend going here.

I got a pastel de nata which according to my husband tasted like the real one on the inside but with a different shell. I wouldn’t know as I can’t eat dairy but I thought it was delicious!
My pastry was a little bit overcooked so I suggest asking to pick the one you would like and don’t pick one that is too dark. I wish I had thought of this before the waiter selected mine.
I also got a croissant which had good flavour but the texture was not light and fluffy. The dough was quite heavy and a little dense.
The cashier who served me was extremely friendly and we chatted for some time about my dairy allergy so he could recommend some things to me. He was fantastic and extremely nice!
The atmosphere was very nice with cute little tables and the glass counter to see the desserts openly. The menus were coffee stained and some of the deco took away from the cute charm. I think the vibe could be changed greatly with a little love for the decoration.
Note**
They do use a fair amount of soy products. I do generally try to avoid soy when I can but would recommend the pastel de nata regardless. I wouldn’t eat it all of the time due to it being soy (would love if they could do it with oat instead) but would let myself get it as a treat.- Serviço

My happiest place to go to in all of porto. You can really taste the quality and skill that goes into every pastry, and the owner is really kind. It’s the best place to go for a cozy pastry and tea, especially when it’s chilly. Their pastries and savory sandwiches are both fantastic. They’ve really mastered the art of atmosphere, and their soft jazz music perfects the vibe.
My one recommendation for change is to allow you to choose the bread you want for your sandwich, since several times they told me they can’t open a new brioche, and I wound up with bread I did not want.- Serviço

Very cozy little café and bakery. Everything on the menu is so delicious. Ended up visiting every day during our stay in Porto. The staff were super friendly and nice. 10/10

I thought I had reviewed this place following my visit in March but doesn't look like I did and I need people to know how lush this place was!
My boyfriend and I were in Porto for our anniversary in March and we were also newly veggie (him) & vegan (me). It was our time on holiday with our new eating choices so we were unsure how we would fare but Porto had it all and Odete especially!
Lots of articles had raved about it and so I actually picked our accommodation (Trait House) based on it's proximity to this cafe and so glad we did! It was the first place we ate when we arrived and we ate here every day, even getting some takeaway sandwiches for the flight home!
The cafe is compact but actually has about 5 tables. It's hard to spot off the street but so welcoming when you enter. Everyone who served us was lovely and friendly. We had the pastries, pasta del natas, sandwiches, so many different things and they were all delicious. The faux salmon was especially mind-blowing, how can it taste so similar!
So happy they've opened another location and they are doing well, now if only they could come to Bristol...- Serviço

Great vibes, good mood good food. The best cinammon roll I ever had. Tasty sandwiches. We were also extremely lucky because one day one customer entered with 4 dogs (including Golden retriever) so this made the whole experience even better.

Beautiful little vegan bakery serving delicious food and drinks. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We dined in for lunch and then bought pastries and bread to takeaway. Everything was fabulous - only wish we could have tried everything.

We came here on the first day, and then again two days later, it was just so nice to have a bakery that is not over the top trying to be specially vegan and still nail the concept.
The bread is super fresh, the toasts are tasty and it’s cheap, really really cheap. We did not get to eat the more complex stuff there, just the ham and cheese and tomato and cheese toasts, the pastel the nata, croissant and the cinnamon roll, all amazing.
We will definitely be back next time to try more things.

Don't miss their pastel de nata, it's really good and you will not find many vegans version of it in Portugal. They also offer many other delicious pastries: pan-au-chocolat, brioche, tartelette, cinnamon rolls.... the sanduiches are really good too, made with fresh ingredients and amazing bread. Had I spent more days in Porto I would have gone there everyday for breakfast and lunch.
Honestly one of the best vegan bakeries I’ve ever found every little pastry was so good, went there every morning if my trip. The guy serving me was amazing super welcoming and smiley and it just made my mornings better ♥️ thank you for being so kind and I hope all the good things in life for each and everyone of you. Thank you

A little cute vegan walhalla in Porto! We had the best sandwiches which were made with bread of the day with rosemary and sesame seed. Soooo good 😍. In addition we ordered a lot of sweets which were super tasty. The price/value is incredibly good. The service was also 👌. Absolutely recommend Odete to ANYONE!!!
When you imagine a vegan delicacy, this is what comes to mind. Delicious. Mouth watering. Beautiful. It’s hard to find words when you’re so overwhelmed with the absolutely incredible taste of vegan tarts and pastries. An absolutely must for anyone plant based.
Cute little all vegan place. We had the tomato and the jam toast as well as the pain au chocolat and the croissant. Everything was great although the croissant wasn't the classic french style. The iced latte with oat milk was also really good.
